I love it when colleagues are kind enough to provide home-made treats during the festive period. One of the BF’s colleagues surprised him one day with, amongst other goodies, a box of home-made Muruku, a lightly spiced traditional South Indian cracker. It was delicious. Although it’s deep fried, it wasn’t greasy and it was extremely palatable, with the flavour of cumin coming through every bite. One of the best versions I’ve tried.
